Things have quickly gone downhill for the Florida Panthers against the Boston Bruins on Sunday. Minutes before giving up a go-ahead goal, the Panthers lost defenseman Erik Gudbranson to a lower-body injury.
Erik Gudbranson injury: Florida Panthers defenseman hurts knee in fall
Gudbranson hasn’t returned to the game.

The incident occurred near center ice in the third period. As Bruins forward Brad Marchand got tangled up with Gudbranson, the big Panthers defensman fell awkwardly to the ice and his leg appeared to get caught underneath him.
We have a GIF of the injury below, but consider this your warning. It’s painful to watch.
That doesn’t look good at all. Gudbranson limped off to the locker room and hasn’t come back out since. You’d have to imagine he’s done for the game. Gudbranson is minus-7 with nine points in 55 games this season.
