He had a terrific opportunity to add to that total midway through the second period on Wednesday night only to have Jonathan Quick absolutely rob him with this glove save right along the goal line.
So close. The play had to be reviewed to make sure Quick didn’t catch it over the goal line. He didn’t, and the game remained tied, 1-1. Those are the breaks that tend to go against the Sharks in these games.
After a terrible start to the series Quick has been on his game over the past three games and has been a big reason why the Kings' were able to force a Game 7 after losing the first three games.
