One of the most underrated moves the Chicago Blackhawks have made over the past few years in assembling their hockey machine was the trade that sent former first-round pick Cam Barker to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Nick Leddy.
Nick Leddy beats Jonathan Quick with perfect backhand shot
Nick Leddy seems to have picked up a thing or two from Patrick Kane.

Barker has bounced around to a couple of different teams and kind of washed out as an NHL regular. Leddy, on the other hand, has turned into an up-and-coming defenseman that’s given the Blackhawks a couple of 30-point seasons from the blue line and for a pretty cheap price against the cap.
In the first period of Game 2 of the Western Conference Final all of his offensive ability was on display when he jumped ahead of the play, blew past Kings defenseman Matt Greene and then beat Jonathan Quick with a perfect backhand shot off the rush.
Honestly, he looked like a forward on this play. And a darn good one.
The Wild might like a redo on that one.
