The Montreal Canadiens had issues with breakaway goals throughout Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final, and it ultimately cost them the game.

Montreal got burned in overtime when they left another man wide open.
Whether it was leaving Carl Hagelin free to score a shorthanded goal or relying on Dustin Tokarski's glove to save a Martin St. Louis chance, Montreal couldn't contain the Rangers when they got space.
So when St. Louis received the puck all alone in the corner in overtime, the end result was somewhat inevitable.
What a snipe. It was a rough end to a 26-save performance from Tokarski, who had just won his first NHL playoff game two nights earlier. As for St. Louis, the goal was his fourth goal and seventh playoff point in his last six games. The Rangers will head to Montreal with a 3-1 series lead after the Game 4 win.
