Corey Crawford bats Charlie Coyle shot onto net with stick
An unorthodox save kept the Wild off the board in the third period of Game 2.

After facing just five shots halfway through the game, the Wild evened the shot totals after two periods in a furious offensive attack that resulted in a Cody McCormick goal in the third period.
Not a minute later, Zach Parise set up a redirection by Charlie Coyle that looked like it would flip over Crawford into the net.
Instead, Crawford made sure it landed on top of it.
Pretty sure that’s what goalie positioning looked like in the ‘80s. Hats off to Crawford, who kept the ‘Hawks from blowing yet another two-goal lead in the third period.
