Led by veteran star winger Marian Hossa, the Chicago Blackhawks are firing on all cylinders after a dominant 4-1 win in Game 2 against the Minnesota Wild.

Hossa’s three assists on Sunday give him six points in the second-round series that the Blackhawks now lead 2-0.
Chicago used puck possession to its advantage early in Game 2, limiting the Wild to just two shots on goal in the first period. Hossa registered his first point of the night when his breakaway chance was saved by Minnesota goalie Ilya Bryzgalov. The Wild were unable to clear the puck, and Jonathan Toews tapped in the rebound.
Minnesota staged a furious rally in the second period with a more focused offensive attack and fewer turnovers. Although the Wild evened up the shots at 15 apiece, Chicago took a 2-0 lead thanks to a last-minute goal from Brandon Saad.
The Wild managed to get on the board in the third period thanks to a nice goal from forward Cody McCormick, but Hossa set up Bryan Bickell for the dagger goal just minutes later. Hossa then set up Saad's empty-netter goal with a nice pass off the boards to ice the game at 4-1.
It was yet another tough game for the Wild's top players, who continue to struggle against the Blackhawks. Both Zach Parise and Ryan Suter were minus-three with no points while Mikael Granlund and Matt Moulson were extremely quiet at both ends of the ice. Coach Mike Yeo has to hope a trip back to St. Paul will cure whatever's ailing his stars.
Chicago and Minnesota play Game 3 in St. Paul on Tuesday.
