Dodger Stadium reacts to Los Angeles Kings’ Game 1 win

If anyone had lingering doubts that Southern California sports fans don’t take hockey seriously, a stadium full of Los Angeles Dodgers fans should’ve changed that opinion on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Kings began the Stanley Cup Final against the New York Rangers on Wednesday, and the Blueshirts took them all the way to overtime in Game 1. When Kings forward Justin Williams finally ended things with a game-winning goal in the extra period, Dodger Stadium shared the news to thunderous applause from the crowd.

Look what you’ve done, Kings. You’ve turned L.A. into a hockey town.
