When the veteran Kings defenseman fired a slap shot past New York Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist in the second period, it looked like the Kings were going to complete a two-goal comeback to tie the game.

Whoops. Welcome back, two-goal lead! It’s like that Mitchell goal never really happened. He negated his own positive influence in the span of like five seconds.
