The NHL is back at fuil strength with 11 games Saturday. The surging New York Rangers go for a California sweep against the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center at San Jose.
2015 NHL schedule: Rangers look for California sweep
New York will try to complete its western road trip with a win in San Jose.

The Rangers (23-11-4) have won eight out of their last nine games as they've shot up the Metropolitan Division standings. In the preceding games against the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings, the Rangers have outscored them, 8-4. San Jose, meanwhile, has been more inconsistent and is coming off a big 7-2 loss against the Blues.
Out east, the New York Islanders and Columbus Blue Jackets face off just a day after both teams played. The two teams could not have played any differently. New York won an overtime game against the Devils, while the Blue Jackets got trounced by the Maple Leafs.
