Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo was shaken up after a dangerous-looking collision with Alex Ovechkin on Sunday. Amazingly, the injury itself was just a tiny part of a pretty ridiculous play.

Meanwhile, Scottie Upshall made a ridiculous save while nobody was looking.

Luongo had to leave the game for good after Ovechkin clocked him on a breakaway attempt. It did not look good.
Even though he left the game, Luongo is going to be fine. And for what it’s worth, neither he nor his coach thought Ovechkin made that impact on purpose.
But let’s forget about all of that for a moment, because everyone seemed to miss the incredible thing that happened at the goal line behind the play.
Yes, that is Scottie Upshall making a ridiculous save at the goal line with his skate blade. Between Ovechkin clocking Luongo and Upshall freaking out to make a crazy save, this is the nuttiest sequence of the season.
