Craig Anderson misplays puck behind his own net, gives up goal
Rule 1: Never leave your net to play the puck.

Craig Anderson fell into the latter category on Wednesday in Columbus. The Ottawa Senators netminder watched the Blue Jackets dump the puck in behind his net and decided he should be the one to retrieve it.
Which was a decent idea until he got it lost in his skates and sort of carried it into his own net.
Remember, goalies: just stay in your net. Bad things happen outside of it.
