As first goals of the season go, Jesper Fast didn't have to do much work for this one. With the New York Rangers leading 2-0 in the third period over the San Jose Sharks, Fast deposited his first goal of the season almost by accident.

— Stephanie (@myregularface) October 20, 2015 Goaltender Martin Jones goes for the poke check and makes contact, but the puck doesn’t slide away from him. Instead, it heads right toward where his legs used to be as the Sharks netminder completes the attempted barrel roll save.
An unfortunate turn of events for Jones, but a well-earned goal for Fast to add to his assist earlier in the evening.
