Yes, you read that correctly. The Canadiens are cheating. They went straight into settings from the main menu and changed their "User Passing Speed" settings all the way to the maximum level. We watched them do it. At least, that's what it looked like when they absolutely bamboozled a Buffalo Sabres defender on a 2-on-1 breakaway on Friday.
