The Anaheim Ducks were supposed to be Western Conference contenders this season, one of the best teams in the entire NHL. They were supposed to look formidable and play like it too.

Right now the Ducks are none of those things. Off to a 1-4-1 start to the season, the Ducks are mired in last place in the Pacific Division and look worse every game. They hit rock bottom on Saturday in Minneapolis, getting outshot by a huge margin while watching the Minnesota Wild pull away.
When Minnesota buried a short-handed goal to make it 3-0, coach Bruce Boudreau looked so incredibly sad.
