Listen to Canucks fans forget the words to the Canadian national anthem

Whether you think the Canadian national anthem is better than the United States’ national anthem or not (it is), residents of both countries should be able to sing their nation’s song by heart. Especially proud Canadians.

But things got dicey when he sang “O Canada.” He sang the beginning of the anthem easily, but then decided to throw it to the Vancouver crowd for the middle part. They were either caught off guard or forgot the lyrics entirely, because what echoed throughout the arena was definitely not the Canadian national anthem.

That is embarrassing. But we have to imagine Americans might suffer the same fate if the tables were turned.
