P.K. Subban stops shot in mid-air to prevent a goal

That’s some hand-eye coordination.

Perry Nelson-USA TODAY Sports

P.K. Subban is a man of many talents. The Montreal Canadiens defenseman has elite vision and speed. He can bomb a puck into the net from the point. His defensive skills are nop-notch.

But did you know he has the hand-eye coordination of a Jedi? Neither did anyone else until Subban prevented an Oilers power play goal with a ridiculous play on Thursday.

The Oilers took a shot that managed to squeeze past Canadiens goalie Carey Price, but Subban grabbed it out of mid-air at the goal line and then bombed it to the other end of the rink for good measure.

How emphatic.
