David Krejci celebrated his first goal of the season by hugging the referee

Nice guy, hugs hard.

The Boston Bruins seem to know the key to success in sports is to get the referees on your side. You can accomplish this either by playing the right way or distributing hugs to them on occasion. On Thursday, the Bruins chose the latter.

Bruins center David Krejci scored the first goal of Boston's season early in the first period against the Winnipeg Jets, and immediately celebrated by sharing a friendly embrace with the nearest official.

Smart guy, that David Krejci.
