Nashville Predators rookie Viktor Arvidsson scored his first NHL goal on Thursday, and while it wasn't highlight reel-worthy it sure didn't hurt his excitement.

The goal came in the first period against the Carolina Hurricanes. Defenseman Seth Jones fired the puck from the point, and the shot made its way into the Hurricanes net. At first it wasn't clear who had actually scored the goal, but Arvidsson seemed pretty confident it was his.
