What looked to be a harmless wrist shot from Vernon Fiddler of the Dallas Stars turned out to be quite a mesmerizing goal thanks to a bit of luck.
Vernon Fiddler floats puck over James Reimer’s shoulder for goal
It’s all in the wrist.

In the early stages of the third period in a tied 1-1 game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Fiddler's backhanded shot from the bottom of the right circle floated over the shoulder of goaltender James Reimer. The puck hit the bottom of the crossbar above the shoulder of Reimer and deflected off the goaltender's back and into the net on a magical change of direction.
