Brandon Saad had a slow start to the year, but the Blue Jackets' young star forward has picked up steam recently with three goals in three games, including this backhand beauty against St. Louis:

Despite the puck landing on his forehand, Saad spins around to his backhand to evade the Blues defender. Saad uses his momentum to fire the backhander with his back to Brian Elliott, firing it up and over the goaltender's glove in one fluid motion.
