The Washington Capitals and Edmonton Oilers were locked in a goaltenders' battle Monday with both teams going scoreless in over 50 minutes played. One of the big plays came when Capitals netminder Braden Holtby saved a sure Edmonton goal on a 2-on-1 rush for the Oilers in the third period, preserving the scoreless game until Dmitry Orlov could post the contest's first goal minutes later.

Holtby takes the puck square in the glove on a slide, finishing the save with flair for one of his best stops of the year.
