Goaltender pads don't really get any better than this. In a league with some pretty standard padding for netminders, a little originality can go a long way. Garret Sparks, a recent call up by Toronto, showed off his cool hardware in the team's game against the Edmonton Oilers Monday night.

LOOK AT THE TINY MAPLE LEAVES!

Former goaltender Martin Biron was such a fan, he tweeted out some really neat comparisons to Sparks' gear over the years.
When @GSparks40 was 5 (1998) Trevor Kidd was wearing these pillows in Carolina. Same Brian's set up 17 years later. pic.twitter.com/gpBetkHjqs
