Blackhawks fan implores referee to ‘drop the puck, you idiot’

A word of advice for referees officiating Blackhawks home games: don't waste the fans' time. They clearly don't appreciate it.

One fan made that loud and clear on Wednesday. After an icing against Chicago, the referee halted the faceoff twice to throw players out of the faceoff dot and to gesticulate towards other players. By the time he actually dropped the puck one Blackhawks fan’s patience had worn thin.

For the audio-impaired, what you just heard was an angry man yell “DROP THE PUCK, YOU IDIOT!” at a referee. Blackhawks fans have no chill.
