We all knew Phil Kessel had one of the best snapshots in the league. We didn't know just how hard until Wednesday.
Phil Kessel shot a puck off the crossbar so hard it landed in the Penguins’ bench
That’s a new one.

The Pittsburgh Penguins winger managed to pull off something that's probably never happened in the history of the NHL (or at least for a long time). Evgeni Malkin and Kessel broke into the Vancouver Canucks zone for a 2-on-1 in the second period, and Kessel ripped a shot that rang off the crossbar.

— Stephanie (@myregularface) November 5, 2015 A groan-worthy play for Penguins fans turned into an awe-inspiring one for everyone involved when they realized where the puck ended up: IN THE PENGUINS’ BENCH.
OK. I have never seen that before. Phil Kessel just hit the bar so hard, it landed in the Penguins bench. Wow.
