Corey Perry scores with 5.1 seconds left in regulation to force overtime

And Roberto Luongo was not happy about it.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Corey Perry saved his one shot for the best moment on Thursday.

The Anaheim Ducks winger hadn't registered a single shot on net all game as his team trailed the Florida Panthers 2-1 in the waning seconds of the third period. It turns out all he had to do was be in the right place at the right time.

With 5.1 seconds left, a shot from the point rebounded of Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo right onto Perry's stick. He didn't miss.

He gets extra points for the awesome celebration. Luongo, however, gets negative points for destroying his stick in anger.
