The San Jose Sharks will be without their best scoring forward for an unknown amount of time after Logan Couture suffered a scary injury on Wednesday.
Logan Couture out indefinitely after surgery to repair a bleeding artery
This is quite the injury setback for the Sharks forward.

Couture left the Sharks’ game in Edmonton and didn’t return due to what the Sharks are calling “trauma to his right thigh” in an update to his status on Friday.
In that same statement the Sharks revealed just how bad that trauma actually was:
Upon returning to San Jose, it was discovered that there was a small arterial bleed in the area. Last night, Logan underwent a successful procedure in San Jose to close the artery and is expected to make a full recovery.
Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said the Sharks do not expect the injury to be long-term, though they did not specify a projected return date for their star forward.
This is the second injury Couture has suffered this season. In the first week of the season, Couture fractured his right fibula in practice and missed more than a month in recovery.
