In the first period on the road against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday, Porter tried to beat Blues defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk to a loose puck along the boards. The good news? He beat him there!
The bad news? Shattenkirk got a little wild with his stick-lifting.
Ouch. But that’s not the worst part. No, the worst part is the penalty didn’t get called even though Porter looked like a dentist appointment went terribly wrong:
