Canadiens rookie scored his first goal and his mom had the biggest smile about it

You know what’s great? Scoring your first NHL goal. You know what’s more great? Your mom being there to see it.

Montreal Canadiens rookie Daniel Carr did just that on Saturday, and he wasted no time doing it. Carr scored on his first shift in his NHL debut with a nice wraparound against the Carolina Hurricanes:

Mom and dad apparently made the trip to Raleigh and they were SO PROUD AND SMILEY.

Hockey parents are the best.
