Eric Staal looks so defeated after referees waive off his goal

Mired on a last-place team with no contract for next season, Carolina Hurricanes captain Eric Staal could really use a break these days.

You know, like a goal. And he almost got one on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens, too, when he barreled in on Habs netminder Mike Condon in the second period.
