Patrick Kane sets Blackhawks record at 22 consecutive games with a point

The 40-plus year record has fallen.

It took 58 minutes into the game, but Patrick Kane has surpassed Bobby Hull's old record for registering a point in consecutive games with Chicago. Hull's record stood at 21 games since 1971 and with an assist on an empty net goal at the end of their 3-1 victory over the Jets, Kane is now the sole owner of the long-standing record.

Kane leads the NHL in points with 41, miles ahead of second place Jamie Benn with 35, and is currently in the midst of a career year that surely has to come back to earth with the tear he's on. Take a look at his gloved assist in the video below.
