NHL schedule 2015: Wild continues playoff push against Canucks

A handful of Western Conference teams will duke it out up and down the standings Monday.

It’s a light slate of hockey in the NHL Monday, but one game could have major implications as the regular season winds down.

The Minnesota Wild are currently chasing a handful of teams for a playoff spot in the Western Conference. One of those teams is the Vancouver Canucks, who will visit St. Paul Monday night. Vancouver sits a full five points ahead of the Wild, but a loss to Minnesota could leave them dangerously close to the bubble by the end of the season.

Of course, that all depends on if the Calgary Flames or Los Angeles Kings mount an offensive on the Canucks in the Pacific Division standings. Both clubs will get a shot at that Monday night, though a win for Calgary (tied in points with Vancouver) would make a more immediate impact. Chicago and Arizona will take center stage on the national level with their game being broadcast on NBCSN.

Here is a complete look at the schedule. All times are Eastern.
