The Buffalo Sabres and Nashville Predators reached peak hockey on Saturday when a player lost so many teeth his trainer had to pick them up.

His trainer was picking up his teeth!
The incident occured late in the first period when a Predators player violently whacked Sabres forward Jerry D’Amigo in the face with his stick. High sticking penalties don’t get more blatant or painful than that.
It was, in fact, as bad as it looked. D’Amigo laid on the ice leaking a LOT of blood.

But blood wasn’t the only thing he lost. His trainer had to pick up his teeth off the ice!
Luckily it appears D’Amigo will be okay, although he’ll be sporting a gap or too in his mouth from now on.
