Sunday is a great day for East Coast hockey fans, as two big matchups will be televised on national TV.
NHL schedule 2015: Bruins face Red Wings, Blackhawks host Rangers on national TV
It’s an East Coast hockey fan’s dream scenario.

The Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins will kick off the day around the NHL with a matinee affair in Boston. Detroit has looked lackluster since returning from a road trip, eking out a 2-1 win against the Islanders before dropping a 5-2 contest against the Flames.
Jimmy Howard is apparently Mike Babcock's sacrificial lamb to the hockey gods, as backup Jonas Gustavsson will get the nod in Boston. He'll have to play well; the Bruins have outshot the Red Wings 84-50 in their last two meetings.
Later on, the New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks duel on NBC Sports Network in a game between two recent Stanley Cup finalists. Chicago is playing well lately without star Patrick Kane, but the Rangers have played just as well without Henrik Lundqvist in net.
