Blues vs. Wild Game 6: Time, TV schedule and how to watch NHL playoffs online

The cards are in Minnesota’s favor as they look to advance.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

To advance to the second round of the playoffs on Sunday, the Minnesota Wild must accomplish what has been a herculean task this series: win consecutive games.

The Wild and St. Louis Blues have traded off wins in every game of their first round playoff series so far, as momentum from previous games evaporating as soon as the puck drops in the next. Minnesota hosts the Blues in Game 6, just two days after the Wild won on the road.

With a home crowd behind them and a win still fresh in their minds, the Wild are not playing with nearly as much pressure as their opponents. The Blues face a daunting task of winning two games just to advance and avoid the disappointment of yet another early playoff exit.

Meanwhile, the Wild have never even led a series 3-2 before. They will be playing fast and loose at home, which puts the odds of a series-clinching win heavily in their favor.
