The home teams hold all the cards on Sunday, which could lead to the first entrants to the Conference Finals round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
NHL playoffs schedule 2015: Capitals, Ducks try to advance to conference finals
A win could send Anaheim and Washington to places they haven’t been in some time.

The Washington Capitals are still on the verge of eliminating the Presidents' Trophy winners after a 2-1 overtime loss in Game 5. The New York Rangers will try to push the series to a seventh game on Sunday when they visit Washington for Game 6. The Rangers are 12-3 in their last 15 elimination games, with goalie Henrik Lundqvist sporting a sharp 1.33 goals against average in that span. Washington is trying to reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 1998.
Later, the Anaheim Ducks are trying to reach their first Conference Finals in a number of years. When they last reached the Western Conference Finals in 2007, the Ducks went on to win the Stanley Cup. With a stellar 7-1 record so far in the 2015 playoffs, the Ducks might feel the same way this year. To stay alive, the Calgary Flames must do something they haven't done in their last 21 tries: win a game in Anaheim.
