Lightning vs. Blackhawks 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream for Game 6

Chicago tries to finally clinch a Stanley Cup on home ice.

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

Chicago has won two Stanley Cups in the last five years. But neither of those championships were clinched on home ice, in front of its rabid fan base. On Monday night, the Blackhawks have a chance to finally start the party on Madison Avenue.

After a win in Tampa Bay on Saturday, the Blackhawks enter Game 6 at the United Center with a 3-2 series lead over the Lightning. A win would give Chicago its third Stanley Cup title in six years, truly qualifying as an NHL dynasty.

Chicago won in 2010 and 2013, but both Cups were awarded while on the road in Philadelphia and Boston, respectively. In fact, the Blackhawks have not won a Stanley Cup Final on home ice since 1938, when they defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs in four games. So, suffice it to say, winning the series in six games on Monday is a top priority for Chicago.

Tampa Bay, meanwhile, is just trying to extend the series to a Game 7 to try and win its second Stanley Cup on home ice.

At the very least, Game 6 should be close.
