Steven Stamkos scores after Lightning passing turns Avalanche defenders into turnstiles
Tampa Bay extended its lead with a dizzying display.

The Lightning already held a lead in the second period when they pulled out their best passing maneuvers to spring Steven Stamkos with a goal. Ondrej Palat got it started by passing the puck across the ice to Vladislav Namestnikov, who immediately whipped it back the other way to a wide-open Stamkos for the score.
