John Klingberg’s terrific spin-o-rama move sets up Stars goal

This kid is good.

For the better part of two periods, the New Jersey Devils held the top offense in hockey at bay. (Thanks, Cory Schneider.) But then the Dallas Stars' upstart young defenseman stepped in, spun around and changed the momentum.

Down 2-0 late in the third period, Dallas was cycling the puck in the offensive zone when it curled around behind the Devils' net. New Jersey defenseman David Schlemko was slow to track it, and John Klingberg appeared OUT OF NOWHERE and the puck ended up in the back of the net.

The talk of Klingberg winning the Norris Trophy has died down as the season’s progressed, but that’s still his 35th point of the season. Not too shabby for a second-year player.
