The Washington Capitals captain has ice in his blood.

Alex Ovechkin, on the other hand, has no fear of America’s pitiful snowstorms compared to his home country of Russia. WUSA9, the CBS news affiliate in Washington, caught an unawares Ovechkin as he and a buddy were out filling up at a local gas station.

Originally, the interviewer had no idea she was walking up to interview Ovechkin, as news reporters often stand outside in the miserable weather to get the reactions of those brave enough to test the elements.
Instead, they got Ovechkin, who would have been skating with the Capitals tonight had the storm not postponed the game in Washington.

His response at the end makes the whole encounter:
“We’re from Russia, so we always have that kind of stuff so we’re all good.”

More like Snovechkin, am I right?
