The 2016 NHL All-Star Breakway Challenge included Wookies and Jagr wigs

Best All-Star event ever.

The NHL All-Star Game's Breakaway Challenge is usually hit-or-miss. Sometimes the players try too hard to pull off crazy trick shots, and sometimes they don't try at all.

In 2016, they pulled off the best Breakaway Challenge ever.

It started with San Jose Sharks players Brent Burns, Joe Pavelski and their kids shooting on Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo and New Jersey Devils goalie Cory Schneider.

Madness ensued.

That was topped, though, by actual hockey brilliance from Matt Duchene.

Then Jaromir Jagr came out to shoot. WAIT. THAT’S P.K. SUBBAN.

But leave it to Burns to steal the show again. He finally embraced his bearded destiny and became a Wookie hockey player.

This is what makes the All-Star game so fun to watch. You did good, NHL.
