Luke Schenn says he’s ‘never been traded before’ a day after his second trade

This is not a good sign.

The Philadelphia Flyers traded defenseman Luke Schenn to the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday, which would be a shock to any player's system. But not Schenn, because he's been traded before!

But not that he remembers. Speaking to the O.C. Register on Thursday, the 26-year-old Schenn had some confusing comments about his feelings on the trade:

Here’s the full transcript of that quote, with emphasis ours:

`Bit of a shock initially. I’ve never been traded before this season. Bit of a whirlwind actually. We just played the Kings last week. Obviously, they’re a great team. We were all talking after the game about how it was probably the toughest team we played all year, against the Kings. To get traded to a team like that, they’ve got respect around the league, it’s a pretty good feeling.’

Uh. Luke. The reason you were on the Flyers is because the Maple Leafs traded you in 2012. Maybe Luke thinks he's his brother, Brayden Schenn. Maybe this is a clone. L.A. needs to take DNA samples or something.
