Logistically, it’s quite hard for a fan to jump onto the ice in a hockey game. Baseball and football fans have to brave a high drop, sure, but hockey encases their players in glass panels anywhere from three feet to almost seven feet tall.
This overly enthusiastic hockey fan on the ice reminds us how great it is that hockey is back
Props to this guy.

So, when a fan does jump onto the ice, it can be a bit of a spectacle. Tell that to this fan during an OHL game between the Guelph Storm and Mississauga Steelheads.

It’s hard to determine the best part of this video -- the fan’s ability to even get over the tall glass panel, the refs complete disinterest in him OR his amazing run through center ice?
Yeah, probably that last one.
Oh, and the players loved it of course.
