Blues goaltender gets unreal extension on open-net stop

If you’re thinking of skipping leg day on Friday after the holiday, Blues goaltender Carter Hutton just gave you a reason not to. We’re not sure what wizardry Hutton applied here to make this save to rob Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky, but that extension should give you extra motivation for a gym run.

Seriously, that’s quite a save. Hutton makes like he’s going to stack the pads on the play, but instead follows Burakovsky’s shot with his left leg halfway up the side of the post as the puck hits him square in the pad.

Don’t skip leg day, folks.
