Tiny children dressed up like turkeys and played hockey

Get into the holiday spirit the right way.

Thanksgiving is often overlooked in the NHL. When most of the money it makes coming from Canada, it makes sense that the holiday often passes by without much fanfare outside of team food drives.

But not this day! On this special day, we have children playing hockey — while dressed up as turkeys!

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for the Washington Capitals for giving me the cuteness of young kids playing hockey — and scoring goals! — in turkey costumes. You’re doing good work out there, Washington.
