See, Sidney Crosby, other players can score pretty incredible mid-air goals! Just about 24 hours after the Penguins captain dazzled with a wonderful show of his hand-eye-coordination, Jesper Fast countered with one of his own.
Hockey players keep whacking pucks into the net baseball-style
Jesper Fast is clearly channeling Sidney Crosby here.

Much like Crosby, Fast was able to get his stick on it off a deflection. But unlike the goal from last night, Fast took the puck off his own body before batting it into the net behind Chicago netminder Scott Darling.
The goal went to a review, but Fast was able to get his stick under the crossbar before touching the puck on its way into the net. Good thing too, because what a goal this is.
This isn’t the first time the NHL has seen baseball-style swings for goals. Brad Marchand had a windup and all last year, and Troy Brouwer had one in the playoffs for the Blues.
