If the month of December is any indication, Sidney Crosby would make a great baseball player. The Penguins’ captain just can’t stop batting pucks out of mid-air for goals, and it’s becoming quite a problem.
Sidney Crosby can’t stop scoring baseball-style goals
Crosby’s future in the MLB is looking bright.

At the beginning of December, Crosby swatted at the puck from behind the red line against the Stars and managed to score a brilliant goal off the back of Antti Niemi. Then 11 days later, Crosby came back from a mid-game eye injury to bat another one out of the air against the Coyotes.
Now, on Dec. 22, Crosby has managed to score a third goal out of mid-air. A hat-trick of baseball goals, if you will. And this one is just as dandy as the ones before it.
Our very own Pat Iversen makes a great argument for Crosby’s potential career as a baseball player.
Checks out, honestly.
Oh and if you want to watch all of Crosby’s incredible goals in one place, a lovely Twitter user complied them all in one GIF.
