Corey Crawford did his best mannequin impression and it led to a Blackhawks goal

Whoops-a-daisy...

Corey Crawford has officially submitted his tape for next year’s Oscars. With the Blackhawks down 2-1 in a key spot, Crawford did what he could to help his team: he took a lightly assisted tumble to draw a Nashville penalty.

With Craig Smith charging through the crease, Crawford moved just a tiny bit to get in his path and cause a penalty.

Of course, Predators fans were not pleased, especially when Chicago tied the game on the ensuing power play. Moments later the Blackhawks took a 3-2 lead on Patrick Kane’s game winning goal.

Crawford clearly knows how to play the game, and how to time his acting so it seems just right to the officials.
