Louis Domingue’s got a case of the Monday’s.
Just days after the Coyotes left starter Mike Smith out to dry — he faced 60 shots in a game that ended in a shootout loss — Arizona’s backup Louis Domingue accidentally caused a goal against with his own foot.
It’s surprising that this doesn’t happen more often when goaltenders aren’t sure of where the puck is behind them. Even so, poor Domingue.
The goal was eventually credited to Sam Gagner for the Blue Jackets.
