The Boston Bruins really threw away their shot on Dougie Hamilton, and they probably know it.
Bruins would like a ‘mulligan’ after botched Dougie Hamilton trade
I can’t figure out why they’d want one, can you?

Hamilton was traded by the Bruins at the 2015 NHL Draft to the Flames for a first-round pick, which they used to make the head-scratching pick of Zach Senyshyn, along with two second-round picks. This all came with reports of character issues against the 22-year-old defenseman, something former Bruin and now mega-star Tyler Seguin of the Dallas Stars knew all too well after his time in Boston.
The consensus at the time of the move was overwhelmingly negative on the Bruins, and it seems time has not dulled the feelings of fans and media alike, if Pierre Mcguire’s comments are any indication.

Giving up on a young cornerstone defenseman because of supposed “character issues” and getting back draft picks they mostly squandered? No idea why the Bruins would want a redo on that one.
