Andreas Athanasiou’s perfect toe drag nets a filthy highlight-reel goal

Andreas Athanasiou may have just scored the best Red Wings goal Detroit has seen all season.

Just days after Anaheim's Rickard Rakell put down his bid for the goal of the year by knifing through two defenders, Athanasiou gave us another example of a player putting the puck on a string for his second goal of the night against the Dallas Stars.

Athanasiou’s first goal of the evening was no where near as interesting as his second, for sure.
